This content of the Victorian Women’s Health Atlas (“The Atlas”) is made available for non-commercial, public information purposes to support health promotion, health and social planning, policy development, research and education.

The datasets provided through The Atlas have been sourced from many different private, public and not-for-profit agencies (eg: Australian Bureau of Statistics, Cancer Council Victoria, Crime Statistics Agency, Victorian Department of Health), with secondary mapping and analysis by Women’s Health Victoria.

Women’s Health Victoria provides this information in good faith and without warranty (express or implied). Data processing limitations

Excluded from The Atlas are all those Victorian respondents who are categorised as “No Usual Address” or “Unincorporated Victoria”.

Data may not equal 100% within particular indicators where we have selectively reported on some, but not all sub categories, or have excluded data categories such as “not applicable” / “not stated”.

Women’s Health Victoria has taken reasonable and due care in the specification of tables to minimise the risk of identifying individuals, and data has been adjusted accordingly (for example: counts of 1, 2, 3, 4 shown as <5).

Data has also been collected using a sex/gender binary (male, female). Other gender identities are not represented.

Acknowledgement of Country

Women’s Health Victoria acknowledges and pays our respects to the Traditional Owners of the land that our offices are situated on, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.

As a statewide organisation, we also acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the lands and water across Victoria. We pay our respects to them, their cultures and their Elders past and present.
