Women’s Health Victoria (WHV) is looking for an experienced Senior Quality and Delivery Officer to grow our organisational impact, in a critical moment of public momentum to drive equity in women’s health!

About WHV

WHV is a statewide, feminist, not-for-profit leading the pursuit of gender equity in health. We work with government, the health sector and the community to create better health outcomes for women (cis and trans inclusive) and gender diverse people.

WHV delivers vital support services to the community and empowering health information. We share evidence and recommendations to challenge bias in the health system. We build capacity in the health sector to achieve equitable health outcomes. We foster an environment of inclusion, innovation and respect.

Senior Quality and Delivery Officer

In this newly created role, you will be pivotal to ensuring that the organisation’s health, information and training services are delivered effectively, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to improve outcomes, develop and implement quality frameworks, ensure compliance, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring robust quality assurance frameworks to ensure delivery to high standards and sector best practice.
  • Leading internal audits, assessments, and service reviews to identify areas for improvement and support adherence to quality standards working closely with service users, partners and other stakeholders.
  • Overseeing workforce management risks and strategies to ensure a high standard of service delivery in WHV’s service delivery areas.
  • Regularly review and update operational policies and procedures to maintain compliance and consistent standards across WHV.
  • Educating and supporting staff to ensure processes conform to the principles of continuous quality improvement to critically examine practice, change, safety and efficiency.
  • Maintaining the integrity of WHV’s client and data management systems to ensure reliability and adherence to regulatory and legal requirements.

Amongst other selection criteria, as an ideal candidate, you’ll have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in health service delivery, quality assurance, law, management or a related field.
  • A minimum of six years’ experience in service delivery or quality management/assurance program or related area. Experience in not for profit or government (preferred).
  • Knowledge of quality management and accreditation systems, such as ISO standards or other sector-specific quality frameworks (preferred).
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence staff at all levels, as well as stakeholders.
