What's New

A review of the Family Violence Laws by the Victorian Law Reform Commission was tabled in Parliament in March this year. The report makes 153 recommendations on all aspects of the justice system’s response to family violence. It is now up to the government to decide if it implements all or some of the recommendations through legislation. The final report can be accessed here.

Ten women's health banners have been created with the collaboration of women's health services and allied organisations. The banners highlight gender differences in health, and include one on "Women and Violence'.

Banners can be downloaded in display format from the Women's Health Victoria web site or borrowed for your event through the Clearinghouse.
